In the interview, Vandad Saniee shared how replacing a fleet of trucks could be expensive — it can put real financial strain on an organization. For municipalities especially, repowering existing vehicles means reviving fleets for half the cost (or less), while extending their lifespan and cutting emissions.

 

“Every time you electrify, you can repower two vehicles versus buying one new OEM. When you scale that up to specialty equipment, it can become a 3:1 or even 4:1 ratio,” shared Vandad.

 

At the show, we showcased our electrified Ford F-150, demonstrating how vehicles can be repurposed and given a second life through electrification. This approach isn’t just about cost savings — it’s about being at the frontiers of zero emissions, circular design, and battery repurposing.

 

We were also excited to see Petawatts Auto Marine RV Ltd. featured in the video with their electrified 1991 Ford F-250, powered by a BlueForce Energy conversion kit. Great job to Attila Molnar for sharing their story!
